Veronika has a proven track record in planning and delivering Information Technology projects. She has acted in the role of Portfolio and Program Director, providing leadership to multiple project managers and teams. She is also an experienced Senior Project Manager with many successful project completions in public and private sector environments. Veronika is experienced in assisting her client senior management project steering committees in their decision-making processes.

Information Technology Implementations

Veronika�s assignments have covered a wide range of business areas. As business analyst and architect, she was responsible for the development and delivery of custom-built or packaged software solutions. She is familiar with implementations in the following business sectors: health, skills development and training, financial, human resources, benefits, payroll, pension administration, enumerations and elections, actuarial systems, investment fund administration, and other specialized business applications, such as the use of GIS technology as a desk-top data integration tool.

Operational Planning and Reviews

Veronika�s experience includes preparation of business cases and treasury board submissions, planning and designing new business operational processes, system maintenance release planning, post implementation reviews and audits. She often assists her clients in procurement activities, by preparing Requests for Proposals and managing the proposal process. Veronika has also conducted organizational development work to review and improve IT Operations.

Strategic Planning

Veronika has been conducting strategic planning activities for most of her career. She has completed a variety of strategic assignments, often as an active participant and contributor to the construction of Business Plans and supporting Information Management Plans.

e-Government

Veronika participated in the development of e-Government strategies and directions for several ministries. As Project Director for the Ministry of Social Development she was responsible for the development and implementation of four new e-services for citizens: three web sites and a new automated telephone inquiry system (IVR). This initiative won the 2002 Public Sector Technology Award in the �Public Value� category, and was also featured at the GTEC conference in Ottawa.
